FLECON-6G 2nd Plenary Meeting

On March 26, 2026, the FLECON-6G consortium held its 2nd Plenary Meeting, bringing together all project partners in a virtual setting to review progress, align ongoing activities, and plan the next phase of implementation.

The meeting, hosted by the ISI/ATH, provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s evolution across both technical and non-technical work packages. Partners shared updates and discussed advancements in key areas, including project coordination and management, system architecture design, Smart Marketplace development, AI-native and zero-touch automation mechanisms, and dissemination and exploitation activities.

A central focus of the plenary was preparing the project’s Proof-of-Concept (PoC) demonstrations, which will be showcased at the upcoming EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026. Partners engaged in detailed discussions on technical integration, demonstration scenarios, and validation strategies, ensuring that the project’s innovations are effectively presented to the wider 6G research and industry community.

The meeting also served as an important milestone for reinforcing collaboration across the consortium, enabling partners to synchronise their efforts and ensure alignment with upcoming deliverables and project objectives. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening cross-work package interactions and accelerating the transition from design to implementation and validation phases.

The 2nd Plenary Meeting highlighted the strong commitment of all partners to advancing the vision of FLECON-6G, paving the way for the development of a flexible, AI-driven “Network of Networks” architecture for future 6G systems.

We would like to thank all partners for their active participation and valuable contributions.
