FLECON-6G at 9th Patras IQ Innovation and Technology Transfer Exhibition
The SMARTECH ATHENA/ISI research team is participating in the 9th Patras IQ Innovation and Technology Transfer Exhibition (https://patrasiq.gr/), which took place from 27th Feb. to 01st of Mar. 2026 at the Conference & Cultural Center of University of Patras.
The aim of the Exhibition was to create a critical competitive advantage, both in the research community and in the productive sector, through the application of innovative ideas for the development of new products and the optimisation of existing products and services in national and global affairs. Its purpose is to utilise knowledge to develop and promote innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
At our booth, visitors and participants discovered how Artificial Intelligence contributes to creating more efficient and innovative services and applications by leveraging cloud computing and telecom providers’ infrastructure. At the same time, they had the opportunity to learn about the research projects SMARTECH ATHENA/ISI team participates in and leads within the framework of the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), including FLECON-6G, to experience interactive demos, and to explore the capabilities of next-generation networks firsthand.
